Monday Morning!

Last night was fairly uneventful, but noisy from the monitors....so sleep....well lest just say we NEED MORE! Haha She had a headache a lot last night so we did some good meds. That helped but first thing this morning it hurt again and the urge to throw up was overpowering the nausea medicine. I attended the rounds with the attending doctors and listened in. They asked if I had any questions or comments and I said I wanted the feeds to stay at 40cc's because 60 is too much, and they said no problem. My next question was about her pressure levels. They called in Dr. Moss who is Dr. Shafron's partner (Shafron is out at a convention or something like that) and he pulled some fluid to test for infection and changed her drain because he thought she was under too much pressure. Amazingly the headache stopped, the coughing lessened, and she is talking up a storm. Especially to the sweet Ladies who brought another doggy to play with! Lucy was sweet and on the look out for stuffed animals! We had to hide them all. :) Mommy is excited because Aunt Tracy will be here later and mommy gets her shower and gets to do some laundry in the washer room here at the hospital. How's that for overpowering - gotta get me some excitement!!!!!
