Its been a relaxed day, and she has adjusted to her tube feedings now. She has not taken anything by mouth but we are assuming the tube is still causing some discomfort in the back of the throat and she is full with the feedings. Tomorrow night will begin the night only feedings, and she will stop first thing in the morning to encourage regular meal times. Her head hurts and she has not spoken too much. Her color is great and she is hydrated to the nth degree, just recuperating. We tried to get her up a bit to paint, but the pressure in her little head is too off kilter for her and she is just not interested.
Bunny and Tony came by for a nice visit! Bunny is Faith's second Mommy and has been since she was about 10 months I think......time flies doesn't it! They brought a new animal to love.....Hope Marie, so we now have Faith, she has her Hope and is surrounded by love! Tony got mushy and we love it! It was their first visit to build-a-bear, how sweet that they did that for Faith!! And a box of her favorite cereal so maybe we can coax her into eating tomorrow.
Daddy and Samantha spent the whole day here too! They have to head out tonight, but we will send lots of pictures to them and they will be back soon! US Airways was GREAT about the whole thing and waved the $300.00 fee for changing the dates on mine and Faith's tickets. We will probably spend some of fall break out there to make up for it!
They also upgraded her to a big girl bed so she could get some snuggle time with Mommy! That always seems to help and she took a great nap in my arms this afternoon. I will post again before turning in for the night, but all the prayers are working and she is getting better by the minute! Thanks for the messages! You guys are awesome!
